Wedding Colors...check

Mr. T and I picked our wedding colors. And without further adieu, here they are...

We will most likely use the gray, sea green and yellow the most and then the pink and brown will be accents here and there.

Here are some wedding invites I found online today. I plan on making my own invites but I can use the inspiration.
This one I like because of the varying fonts and font colors, but I hate the tree.
I like the graphic on this one but otherwise it seems too informal
This ones gorgeous but it is also letterpress which we won't be able to afford. The look of it is great because he comes across as formal but also lighthearted.

Wedding Colors

Wedding colors don't seem like a super important piece of the wedding when compared to photography or the caterer, but I am finding that not having a solid idea of what they are yet is impeding me on making other decisions. We will pick the colors together by going to Home Depot and standing in front of the paint swatch section. Mr. T will pick the colors that he is drawn to, I the same, and we will come up with an amalgamation of them. I do know I want them to be summery, cheery, and saturated but not dark. I am leaning towards yellow and green. I am also loving pink for some reason (not pastel though!). I want our whole wedding to have a definite sense of style that is continuous throughout all parts. 'Me thinks we had better do this sooner than later.
Oh boy.

Honeymoon?

This post is not about me, but it is about the worst idea for the end of a honeymoon ever. Yesterday I read that Prince William will be ending a honeymoon that includes the Seychelles and a tour of Canada with.......wait for it.......L.A. blech. His new wife has never been to the United States and of all the beautiful (and non stereotypical) places to go he picks L.A? Maybe she has always wanted to go there and see Hollywood or something lame like that but I get the feeling she is going to be extremely disappointed. L.A. SUCKS. So here I have provided a list of places that would be a thousand times better.

Big Sur- Maybe I am just partial because I grew up near here but it is one of the post amazing places in the world. I suggest a neo-hippie lunch at Nepenthe, and then a stay at Post Ranch Inn.
Another idea would be The Grand Canyon. The sheer grandness (pardon the pun) is unimaginable until you actually see it in person. Suggestions would be to take a the Wild West Train Ride around the rim and then a rafting tour on the Colorado River below. A little stopover in Vegas couldn't hurt either.
If it is the city that Kate craves then ditch L.A. and try San Francisco instead. It has more style, more class, more history, and less traffic (only by a little!)
Finally a possible visit to the South might be interesting. Can't hurt by going to New Orleans (I have never been) and see the grand old Southern Mansions.
So...Prince William. ANYWHERE but L.A.!

Amazing Engagement Photos and Honeymoon Inspiration

YES! Our engagement photos are done and are amazing! I am in love with them. We went to our photography studio to check them out and instantly knew we would be booking them for our wedding. They gave us an unbelievable price too. Some of my favorites are below. We have also officially booked our sites. When I got the contract I was really worried because it said we were required to provide porta-potties for the park. Frantic, I called and they said that for short events (20 minute wedding) it was not necessary. Phew! Last thing I wanted was my guests walking by a porta-potty on the way to their seat.

In other news I have been obsessed with blogs lately and ran across this one HiP Paris, written by an American living in Paris. I found a post about a vacation spot in Italy and it looks amazing! I hope that we can afford to go to Europe for our honeymoon!
